Characteristics of the Plant:
Height: The plant can reach a height of 60-120 cm.
Leaves: Bright green.
Flowers: White.
Exposure: Needs a lot of sun and heat.

Cultivation Cycle:
Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained soils rich in organic matter. A sandy soil enriched with compost and mature manure is ideal.
Exposure: Needs many hours of direct sunlight. Sensitive to cold, it fears temperatures below 15-16 °C.
Sowing: January to March in heated seedbed. Seedlings can be transplanted outdoors from late April to early May.
Planting Distance: Plants should be placed 60-70 cm apart to encourage good branching.
Protection: Treatment with kaolin powder to protect against pests and sunburn.
Harvest: After about 100 days after planting. Scalar harvesting stimulates the plant to produce new fruit.

Uses:
Used fresh, dried or ground as a spicy spice for meat, marinades and sauces.
